LAWS OF LAYERING
In this class we will use feet, hands, hips, torso, head, arms and fingers (at the same time) to create advanced layering exercises. This is my favorite topic and I enjoy creating/executing unusual and crazy layers, using isolation techniques and studying anatomical planes. I will lead the class through an in-depth analysis of space as well as muscular action to help execute seemingly impossible polyrhythmic movements.

FOOTPATTERNS AND TRAVELINGS
Dynamic leg movements contribute to a complex performance in their interaction with the hips and other parts of the body. The weight/lower limb relationship will be examined in order to break conventional patterns of muscle activation and movement. In addition, classical ballet postures will be revisited as well as different displacement patterns will be presented so that, at the end of this class, we will study a traveling that combine legs, hips and a fun and challenging arm phrase.

YULUNGA CHOREO
In this workshop, we will delve into the Yulunga choreography, created in 2021 and taught exclusively to Tribal Salon students. YULUNGA is what moves us, what enchants us, what makes us dance. The vital force that overflows between present, past and future. The ancestral memory of the indistinct events that flow over the earth. YULUNGA is memory, is resistance. It is being alive and attentive. Let’s let it emerge from our bodies through dance.

ANNA ARTE
CHOREOGRAPHY
This will be an immersive journey into the world of dance choreography, where the beauty, complexity, and diversity of movements will help you unlock new dimensions of your artistry.
We will be working on a choreography that showcases a rich and varied movement vocabulary:
- Broad, sweeping movements and explosions – adding expressiveness, power, and emotional depth to the dance.
- Subtle accents – requiring precision, control, and attention to detail for a more graceful performance.
- Waves and locks – bringing dynamic energy and contrast to the choreography.
- Spins – creating a sense of freedom and lightness, adding an airy quality to the dance.
- Diverse movements of the legs, arms, and head, working with weight transfer in dance.
You will deepen your knowledge and skills in Tribal Fusion, refine your technique, and expand your dance repertoire.
